Speisekammer in Frankfurt

Great class! In the past we have often sat in the beautiful garden or in the extremely successful interior and enjoyed the excellent food and corresponding wines. At Christmas in Corona times, we ordered goose with dumplings, red cabbage and chestnuts, picked it up without waiting and ate at home. Excellent! The ability to keep the food warm at home in stainless steel vessels with the associated fuel paste was also particularly ingenious. Keep it up, we are very happy to have such an excellent and beautiful restaurant around the corner with the pantry.

Today we got goose to go, a dream, super tender and delicious. Wow! 👍👏👏👏 Hope to be a guest again soon.

Even in Corona times, a visit to the pantry is a great pleasure. We were able to pick up the goose ordered in advance, including the side dishes, on time at the agreed time. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to eat comfortably in the pantry. When we got home, we had a delicious goose on the table, the poultry had already been ported to us on request. The service is simply great, a suitable red wine was available for us. Everything is well organized. You notice that you know what you are doing. You have adjusted to the current situation. A nice Advent season for the whole team and good luck for the future.

Today we picked up a "goose to go" that we had pre-ordered the day before yesterday. For 4 people a whole crispy goose, already cut up as desired, and plenty of red cabbage, dumplings, chestnuts and sauce in the chafing dish and even two more goose lard. It was delicious!

Also in the pick-up service: The pantry is and will remain my absolute favorite restaurant! The food is just great! I hope you will get through this difficult time well and that you will soon be able to go to a real restaurant again!

Since the restaurants are unfortunately closed due to Corona, we had to order the whole goose plus dumplings, red cabbage, chestnuts, sauce and goose lard to-go. The food was very good as always. The goose was super crispy and tender. The side dishes were also terrific and sufficient. We look forward to dining with you again soon. Until then, thanks for the great to-go service.

Very pleasant, and very good! But unfortunately it won't be possible to eat outside in November because of CV19. We would like to order the goose again - and pick it up at the dehaam eseen! :-) Hold on!

In Corona times, we arrived in family strength and with a corresponding reservation. We were assigned a very pleasant table within the house. The service was attentive and quick. However, the latter cannot be said of the kitchen. The individual courses were served too far apart. And after the starter, which was served late, you weren't really hungry anymore. The main courses were served after about 75 minutes. So we skipped dessert. My semi-dry Riesling was actually lovely. A wine for a relaxing evening but not suitable for a dinner. As a starter, a tarte flambée was offered and similarly powerful dishes. I left it with a more suitable hand cheese (a piece) with music. The bread with it could have been crispier. My veal cordon bleu was well cooked, if a little dark. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, could have spent some time in the pan. Overall, the menu was too extensive. A smaller menu with more suitable dishes would have made more sense. Everything seemed very improvised. And the menu was the best example of that. A4 pages stuck together, the copies of which also had different page numbers. Copied in black and white. A color printout would certainly have been possible with the prices of the dishes. And still water is served unrefrigerated.

What a disappointment!! Much too expensive for very average food. Young waitress very annoyed. Staff not coordinated. I cannot understand the good reviews.

Price performance is not right at all. Much fried and carelessly prepared, honestly had more of fast food, and at the price! Service and ambience nice, but we will definitely not be back

Great service and lovely food. Traditional German fare at its best. The salad dressing was a bit on the rich side for me but otherwise it was perfect.

A cosy traditional Frankfurter place with very tasteful plates and an excellent service. Friendly staff. A bit expensive. II strongly recommend this restaurant and I would like to visit it again in the future.

Great food and atmosphere!

Actually a great place with really great food. We enjoyed it very much and also tasted very good. It is priced here but also much more expensive than in a cider restaurant otherwise. The cider tastes great and its price "almost" worth. On the whole very recommendable but no bargain.

Good quality german food at a decent price and great service. It's best to go, when the sun is shining and you can sit outside, at which point it becomes a great apple wine restaurant

The restaurant can only be recommended. It has a very nice atmosphere and the staff is very accommodating. On St. Martin's we enjoyed a wonderful roast goose here. The freshly prepared geese are carved by the waiter at the table. A real experience.

Great Outdoor Seating for hot summer days. You pay for a great atmosphere and excellent quality food. The staff takes good care of the guests.

5 Stars for the food and authentic atmosphere in one of Frankfurts hidden charming spots. The service seemed to be overchalanged but was overall nice. The plates could have been removed quicker and it would have been nice to be asked for a second round of drinks. But all in all great food!
